Yellowdramatic

jacky is a soulful singer/songwriter from chicagoland who has a little folk, pop, and rock in her music. she likes to switch up her musical settings from solo acoustic, to plugged in with a band, to soul-singing in her gospel choir (where her nickname is 'light skin'), which you can hear in her album. she started out at 16 playing vail st. cafe in hometown arlington heights, and even though she's played some bigger venues, she still thrives for the brutally honest coffeehouse scene, frequeting places like uncommon ground. however, jacky also likes to step it up a notch in the live scene, as shown in the past, singing her heart out at the hard rock cafe, the taste of chicago, and schubas. jacky dustin finished her first album in 2004 with copia records, called yellowdramatic. the title is suiting for jacky, since although her writing tends to come off a bit deep, she always finds the 'yellow' in the 'drama.' take it from her fans on the bottom of the page what the cd's like. or take a listen for yourself.
